Miss Bim Williams
Miss Williams trained in the West Midlands and North West Deaneries and obtained membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologist in 1998 and Colposcopy accreditation in 1999.
Miss Williams undertook research into reducing postpartum anal sphincter morbidity culminating in a Doctor of Medicine in December 2005 and consolidated her urogynaecology interest in Liverpool. She completed specialist training and obtained her Certificate of Completion of Training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2006.
She has been a Consultant Gynaecologist with a subspecialty interest in Urogynaecology at the Royal Bolton Hospital since September 2006. She performs surgery for pelvic organ prolapse and manages urinary incontinence with medical treatment and surgery. She also treats other gynaecology conditions such as menstrual disorders, chronic pelvic pain, sexual dysfunction and postpartum problems.
Miss Williams also offers Colposcopy and treatment for abnormal smears and urodynamics investigation for incontinence. Miss Williams has a research interest in pelvic floor dysfunction and participates in clinical trials evaluating prolapse repair surgery.
Miss Williams is married and has a daughter who keeps her busy with her extracurricular activities.
She also enjoys family holidays and travelling abroad and discovering new destinations.
Miss Williams follows tennis with great interest and plays badminton at her local club when she has time
