Visiting us as an inpatient

As part of your treatment you may require inpatient care, which means that you will come and stay in hospital with us. This may be a planned stay as part of your treatment programme, or you may need to be admitted if you start feeling unwell.

During your stay with us you’ll have all the amenities and information you need to make your stay comfortable and feel as reassured and informed as possible.

Admission

If your inpatient care is part of a planned stay we will be in touch with you with your admission date and we will send you a guide to coming into hospital. Your consultant will discuss the urgency of your care with you so that you can make an informed decision about when you will come into hospital.

Feeling comfortable

All of our inpatient rooms are private and have their own en-suite facilities, so you will have complete privacy during your stay.

The rooms are modern, comfortable and have windows giving you plenty of natural light. Relaxation and staying connected are important for your wellbeing, so every room has a state-of-the-art personal entertainment system allowing you to access the internet , watch digital TV and films and listen to the radio.

The variety of food we offer means that whatever your needs – – our chefs will be more than happy to cater for you. If you have special dietary requirements , please try to inform us in advance of your admission so we can be well prepared for your stay.

Welcoming your visitors

Your visitors are welcome here at any time of the day – there are no restrictions on visiting hours, and it is possible for a friend or relative to stay with you overnight. Often this will depend on the level of care you need – if you feel that you would like someone to stay with you then please discuss this with your named nurse, who will arrange this for you.
