Chemotherapy

Chemotherapy can be administered in a tablet form, as an injection or intravenously though a drip. This treatment aims to kill cancer cells.

Our purpose-built chemotherapy day-care unit is a state-of-the-art facility designed with our patients in mind: peaceful, relaxing and flooded with natural light.

Featuring 12 ‘pods’ that can be either private or social, the unit gives you complete control over your environment while receiving your treatment. You can choose to interact with other patients or you can use the personal entertainment system to go online, watch TV or films, or listen to the radio. There is plenty of room for you to be accompanied by a family member or friend. You are also able to choose from our menu and drinks service, which is specially designed to suit your needs when receiving chemotherapy treatment.

Cutting-edge treatment by experts

The unit is staffed by a team of highly skilled specialist chemotherapy nurses who create a safe, comfortable environment for patients to receive the very latest in chemotherapy treatment.

The state-of-the-art treatments we offer include the following:

  • Interleukin-2, which is a natural part of your immune system that is recreated using genetic-engineering techniques and is given by infusion.
  • Tumour-infiltrating lymphocytes.
