Endocrine Tumours

The endocrine system is made up of endocrine glands which include the pituitary glands directly below the brain, the adrenal glands above the kidneys and abdomen, the thyroid gland at the front of the neck and the parathyroid glands which sit behind the thyroid gland. Tumours can originate in any of the endocrine glands; these are not always cancerous but can be, which is why it is important to obtain an early diagnosis and, if necessary, treatment programme.

Symptoms will vary depending on the site of the tumour. If you have any concerns please contact us or your consultant/doctor.
